This book is meant to archive life in Newark, New Jersey, high-rise projects during the 1960s 1970s. Many African-American stories are not shared, this one is from a collection of perspectives. It is a collaboration of stories about how many persevered and overcame adversities they never signed up for. Life served them lemons, they made lemonade.
